Too Busy People Pleasing?

Yep. Been there: Everyone else's needs come before your own. When THEY have what they need, then YOU can focus on yourself. But let's be real: how often is anyone ever satisfied? Or, maybe since they are so used to YOU stepping up, they dont even bother because you and your ape will just swoop on in and handle it.

Depletig yourself. Waiting for validation. Waiting for your turn. Waiting. Hoping. Wishing. Yearning.

And after years of that, the resentment builds and both the physical and emotional symptoms start to surface: digestive issues, midsection weight gain, lack of confidence, feeling stuck in your life, just to name a few...

And spiritually, what is happening is your energy center is BLOCKED. Our body has energy centers, chakras, that help to maintain balance for us to live a full, joyful aligned life. And the area that governs our instinct, self esteem and confidence is the solar plexus chakra.

If you find yourself constantly “people pleasing,” or needing the validation of others, you may need to open your solar plexus chakra.

Here are some simple movements that can circulate your energy and have to bring a conscious awareness to your energy enter to free up space and get UNBLOCKED.

START WITH:

Plank Pose To Open Solar Plexus Chakra

Yoga is an ancient practice that is very helpful for opening all chakras though poses, breathing, and meditation. It is also excellent for general health and well being through strengthening and increasing the flexibility of the spine and body.

The benefits that yoga provides to the body can also help with the physical symptoms of a blocked solar plexus chakra. Located in the stomach area right above the navel, the most common physical symptoms of a blocked solar plexus chakra are related to digestion.

Yoga’s benefits to the digestion system are well documented and backed by neuroscience. Yoga is an excellent technique for activating the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for rest and digestion, which is why we add yogic elements into our workouts for athleticism and spirituality.

You will notice many of the the poses below are related to the stomach and core area to help promote digestion to awareness in that area. Similarly, they also represent physical, emotional, and spiritual strength.

Here are the poses that many experience yogi’s and yoga teachers recommend to open the solar plexus chakra:

  1. Plank Pose – Phalakasana

  2. Boat Pose – Navasana

  3. Reverse Plank Pose – Purvottanasana

  4. Bow Pose – Dhanurasana

  5. Sun Salutations
